A turn off, more recently termed ‘the ick’ is the feeling when attraction to a current or potential partner suddenly changes to a feeling of disgust. There are a lot of things that might make you feel the ick, and once you do, there’s often no going back.
With Valentine’s Day coming up, we wondered, ‘what are the biggest icks when it comes to driving?’ The smallest thing, from someone running for a bus, owning a printer to something like the way they chew their food, might turn you off a potential suitor.
A poll of over 2,000 people discovered the biggest driving icks and the brand of vehicles you should avoid when in pursuit of a lover - here are the results:
We were shocked by the top 5 car brands which give people the ‘ick’:
Rank | Car brand | % of people who would get the ick |
1 | BMW | 8% |
2 | Fiat | 7% |
3 | Skoda | 7% |
4 | Smart | 7% |
5 | Audi | 6% |
If you passed the car brand test, there is still more! Check out the top ten driving behaviours that are not desirable to potential partners:
