During the two day tournament, Camden, from South Carolina beat the world No.16 player Bryn Sayers in the quarter final and No.5 player Nick Wood, before beating No.10 Spike Willcocks still an amateur player and former Canford School pupil 6/0, 6/2.
Canford’s Head Pro Steve Ronaldson said that Camden’s performance was exemplary: “I knew Camden was fast, but what impressed me was he served so well and made only 4 racket errors in the final. Awesome”.
FlexxiLease’s Austin Snelgrove, a former professional international player of the sport, from which most racket games have their origins, started his real tennis at the school. He said that the company was delighted to support the 2007 tournament.
